Uno Izegbu is the founder of Stone Bridge Recruiting and a dynamic professional with a diverse background in business management, human resources, and public service.
Before beginning his career in public service, Uno spent a decade working in the vibrant and ever-changing Washington D.C. hospitality industry. While pursuing his educational endeavors, Uno began his career in hospitality as a restaurant server and gradually advanced to managerial roles. This experience provided valuable insight into customer service, team management, and organizational attributes of successful operations.
In July 2018, Uno joined the DC Mayor’s Office as an Associate Director in the Mayor's Office of Talent and Appointments (MOTA). In 2019, Uno was promoted to Special Assistant for Mayoral Appointments working from the Department of Human Resources. His last role was as the Deputy Director of MOTA. Uno played a role in ensuring that the city's leadership is comprised of individuals with the right skills and expertise.
Uno's journey from the hospitality industry to public service demonstrates his adaptability, leadership, and commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
Uno earned his master's in business management from George Mason University.
Uno lives in Petworth, Washington D.C., with his wife Brittany and his son Arinze.
